On 2 June, students and faculty members of MSLU met with Ecuadorian poet and poetry translator Marco Antonio Cornejo Ubillús. He is the only specialist in Ecuador who translates literary works directly from Russian into Spanish.

On 18 June, Moscow State Linguistic University hosted the Secretariat Meeting of the Alliance of Chinese-Russian Language Education Universities.
